SUMMIT was selected to provide Moisture Emission Testing and Special Inspections for fireproofing and in-process full penetration welding inspections for the new Chiquita Corporate Headquarters at the Nascar Hall of Fame building in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our work is being performed for Chiquita in conjunction with Rodgers Builders.

SUMMIT hired by American Legion Headquarters for Civil Design and Surveying for a new 19,000 square foot facility in Rock Hill, SC. SUMMIT will be working with RT Harper Construction.

SUMMIT provides quality assurance for Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) in Fort Mill

SUMMIT is providing mix designs, quality assurance and quality control testing of the Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) at the Fort Mill School Bus Depot in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The smooth finish 25,000 square yard parking area will consist of 6 inches of RCC over lime stabilized subgrade soils. This is the first application of RCC for the Fort Mill School District and is one of the larger projects in the area and is part of the Value Engineering options presented by SUMMIT during our Geotechnical Investigation at the subject site.

SUMMIT was selected to perform Materials Testing and Chapter 17 Special Inspections for the new Carolinas Healthcare CMC-Rock Hill Medical Office Building. The 92,000 SF 3-story structure will be constructed on approximate 10 acres at Celanese Road and Interstate 77 in Rock Hill South Carolina. The General Contractor is Myers and Chapman.

Novant Health hires SUMMIT to perform multiple asbestos surveys for upcoming renovations at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. These renovations are in the 2nd floor E-Wing “Eye Center” operations rooms, and renovations on the 5th and 6th floors and “D-wing” patient rooms.
