Mill Creek Commons
Location: Lake Wylie, South Carolina
Scope: Construction Materials Testing, Retaining Wall Testing and Certification and Water Quality Sampling
Client: Crescent Retail
The Mill Creek Commons development by Crescent Retail and Lowe's Home Improvement is located in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. Development activities included of mass grading for approximately 300,000 square feet of space for a future Lowe's Home Improvement and Wal-mart Supercenter in addition to nine out parcels for associated retail including Walgreens, McDonald’s and Bank of America along with associated parking, roadways and utilities to serve the development. Our work consisted of Construction Materials Testing during site development, retaining wall testing and certification and water quality sampling and testing within Lake Wylie.
Lake Wylie Lowe's Home Improvment
Location: Lake Wylie, South Carolina
Scope: Construction Materials Testing and Chapter 17 Special Inspections
Client: Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse
The Lake Wylie Lowe's Home Improvement project consisted of the construction of a 130,000 square foot home improvement warehouse within the Mill Creek Commons development by Crescent Retail. The building required construction of a 52 feet tall segmental block retaining wall and is supported on a system of shallow foundations with structural steel framing. Our services consisted of Construction Materials Testing for soil, stone and asphalt and Chapter 17 Special Inspections for building foundations, concrete, masonry and steel construction.t.
Carolina Commons
Location: Lancaster, South Carolina
Scope: Construction Materials Testing, Retaining Wall Testing and Certification and Chapter 17 Special Inspections
Client: RED Partners with Myers & Chapman
The Carolina Commons development by Red Partners and Myers & Chapman is located in Lancaster, South Carolina adjacent to Sun City at Carolina Lakes. Development activities consisted of mass grading approximately 200,000 cubic yards of cut to fill for retail including Harris Teeter, CVS Pharmacy, BB&T Bank, Wendy's, Starbucks and professional medical office space along with associated parking, roadways and utilities to serve the development. Our work consisted of Construction Materials Testing during site development, retaining wall testing and certification and Chapter 17 Special Inspections services during medical office and retail construction operations.
Matthews Gateway
Location: Matthews, North carolina

The Matthews Gateway development by Brookchase Properties is located in the heart of Matthews, North Carolina. Development activities consisted of mass grading approximately fill for nearly 50,000 square feet of retail and commercial space including Medical Office, Office, Food/Retail along with 36 multi-family residential units and all associated parking, roadways and utilities to serve the development. Our work consisted of Construction Materials Testing during site development, retaining wall testing and certification and Chapter 17 Special Inspections services during medical office and retail construction operations.
